Of course, but if I would have been in his position, time standing still would have involved wondering whether I was about to be trampled/gored to death by a boar and whether I or my fellow hunters could shoot the bastard
About the wild boars and farmers thing, it is scary to hear some of the reports coming out the US about how absolutely destructive these creatures are for the areas that they live in. Yes, in Canada, it still seems like hunting to go after these wild pigs but at some point, I would not be surprised if the mindset shifted to one of control and extermination.
