Can't tell from the angle of that picture. If you had a better shot of the head area I would venture a guess, but if it's a big bear and your not seeing any cubs shoot it.

Look around your bait and see if you see any little prints, or check to see if cubs have been climbing the tree. Please post a pic of KIM

As a side note, isn't your stand a bit close to the bait pile (if that's what I see behind the bear's ass)? You plan on jumping on his back from the stand?

As mentioned, I was just wondering what ### it was...nothing to do with if the bear is a shooter or not. More out of interest than anything.
I will just be happy to have the time to sit in the stand regardless.
Thanks for the razzing about the close proximity of the bait pile and the treestand. Did not have time to clear the area of brush and fiqured I was dealing with a walking stomach anyways, so I will clear out the area next weekend.
