Boat Blind for Waterfowl-Anyone make one?

Happy on the farm, plan on leaving feet first.
Planning on making a duck blind to go on our 12' alum. skiff for next fall.

Was figuring on using conduit X2 "rings" on each side of the boat, so they'll fold up or down, some kind of a wingnut tightener for tension, and hinged on the bottom. (sort of like a bimini top, one on each side)
Idea is it would be open the length of the boat in the middle, covered on the sides and ends.
Cover the whole affair with the camo burlap and park it in the cattails.

Anyone make anything resembling the above? I see basspro sells one that folds up opposite and much higher to what I"m thinking.

Thoughts?
 
I made a removable one a few years back. I used electrical conduit for the frame and made brackets out of 1 inch square stock. I tried to make it fold but in the end I made it removable. I used conduit to make 4 corner posts then I rolled the whole thing up when it wasn't in use. It worked a little better when I added a few bundles of marsh grass to break up the boats outline.
 
Was the problem with it folding the softness of the conduit where the bolt went through, and if so would a tacked in steel ferrel maybe do it? Or maybe a 4" steel pipe at the pivot point, and conduit inserted into that?
I like the idea of the square stock for a mount. Would also be pretty easy to mount to the boat.

Was yours open at the top, or how did you shoot?
 
I use an avery quick set. It's pretty simple design that could easily be duplicated using 1/2" or 3/4" square tube. Here is mine on my 2008 Lowe 1852

I have a cage made for my 18' lund. Its all 1" aluminum square tubing and has custom brackets that clamp to the boat. It hangs down and even covers the motor. Its removable just back it into the garage unclamp and lift it onto hooks in the rafters. I have camo burlap and also some ceders if I'm motivated
