Intrigued by this pistol. Read all the Interwebz lore on them. I understand the limitations.

The first run of .45's flew off the shelf here.

Would like to hear from owners shooting experiences? The good, bad, ugly?

Or are people buying them to collect and keeping them in the safe?

It has a double action only trigger that is quite smooth and manageable. I tried the reduced 6 pound hammer spring and actually went back to the stock 7.5 lb spring as it gives more feedback and has more robust reset.

For its size and trigger, it is very accurate, and reliable with good ammunition. Recoil is surprisingly mild (all metal frame/slide helps).

It does not lend itself to hand over slide racking, slingshotting is more reliable.

I have over 500 rounds through mine with cheap Chinese surplus ammo and not one malfunction. Well one... I tried just for the hell of it a mag loaded with blazer brass (on the do not use list) and the 3rd round separated..

Awesome little pistol, real fun to shoot...

Just stick with the long list of approved ammo (Chinese white box surplus should be added) and you will have a flawless pistol:)

Great feed back here so far, would be nice to hear some more, anything negative found yet???

I love my 9L and would not give it up or sell it.

Only downside I can see is trying to save brass: the design of the system throws all but the last brass ejected a long ways away. As the round is being pulled from the magazine a small "flipper" pushes the round up in line with the barrel, but at the same time that rising round is pushing up on the last fired empty casing along with the ejector. Mine puts all but the last round 16-20 yards behind me, or into the ceiling of the shooting line and thus into my neighbor to my right.

Mine took out the fluorescent light behind and above me. Now our range has shields on all the lights.

The odd casing will bounce off the shooting station baffles and hit me.

Failure to eject doesn't seem to be a problem!

I'm curious about the shootability of the pistol...I shoot my revolvers well and accurately, as well as my CZ Shadow...but it took a lot of practice to learn to shoot the light Ruger SR9 fairly well. I still can't shoot it close to as accurately as I can my CZ. Is the Boberg closer to the CZ Shadow in terms of shooting it, or closer to the SR9 or Glock 17?
