We are your guys. :) We have the only Boberg-trained smith in the world outside of Boberg HQ. If you ever run into any issue, give us a call or shoot us an email and we can take care of it here in Canada.

Cheers,
Daniel

Well surprise surprise my BOBERG showed up today. I don't know if Gary works for Canada post or if he knows someone who does because anytime Wanstalls ships anything to me it gets here super fast!! Shipped on Friday in my greedy hands today!!!

Onyx BOBERG is simply a work of art, pricey, definitely! Worth the money? To me, Yes!

First thing I noticed about it is how small this gun is, it honestly would be a perfect pocket carry if that was allowed! It definitely is the perfect range pocket carry practice gun! I however will get to get a bit more use out of mine because of my trapping license. Once CFO ok's it.....

I currently have a beretta 71 as my only other compact. The 71 feeds and shoots any kind of .22 ammo (including CCI quiets) the 6 inch barrel makes it very accurate too, but it's a .22.... I will take the BOBERG shooting soon and I'm hoping to report on accuracy!! In the meantime here are a few pictures that I know I'd like to have seen before making my purchase.

See? Told ya you'd love it! Your experience matches mine exactly. However, I was impatient and didn't want to wait (or pay) for the Onyx finish. How does it compare to say, Gunkote or Armacoat, or? I pictured it like DLC (diamond-like coating) like you can get on piston pins and similar...

Trying to be patient here, but just awaiting FRT from the Firearms Centre...we have very limited run of XR45-S models in country. As soon as we can officially transfer them we will have them our our website!

So these will have the 4.2" barrel, in the xr45s frame?

When are the xr45l 's coming out?

You sir were 100% right I just figured buy once buy right, and I am not disappointed! Can't wait to shoot it!!! Tue finish is amazing!

There's currently no XR45L on the horizon -- there are engineering issues with the added slide weight and length that would need to be solved for reliable function and with the high demand for XR45 pistols in the US, where the XR45S is A-OK, that extensive and complex project can't be undertaken while they're trying to supply the masses. If and when they do manage to get the time to work it out, you can be sure we'll be getting the first wave, but for now there is no XR45L for the foreseeable future :)

Got my Platinum today, extra mags and 1000 rounds of AE 147gr.

Can't begin to say how nice it is to deal with such a great shop!

Thanks Wanstalls!

Beside my Leatherman MUT for scale, also a spare mag, 1 loose round of 147gr PDX1.

Question - do you have the regular (long) stroke triggers available to purchase? I have the short stroke trigger from the original pre-order and would like to try the lighter long strong "standard" trigger, if available.

Thanks!
