Boberg has announced on their website that they are looking into production of an "XR9-SC", the C standing for Canadian.

I think we should encourage Boberg to do so, which means that you need to show your interest in this piece should you want one. The only way we're going to get these guns into Canada is if there is significant interest from consumers like yourself and I. We are going to need a big push here to A) convince Boberg to make this and B) convince a dealer to bring them in.

does that mean its half price to? :p Ive got a gun with the barrel sticking out the end, the more I look at it the more it symbolizes everything that is stupid about our liberal infested gun laws. I find it almost offensive to shoot now. I think its great that manufacturers will bring in guns for out limited market, but at times I almost wish it would come without a barrel rather than some clown attachment sticking out like pencil...

There is definitely plenty of interest for this gun.

I have already told Boberg Kodiak Outpost is interested in importing these when they are available. We had some correspondence several months ago.

I cannot think of a better way to stick it to anti's than to buy this gun.

The extended barrel to me only signifies that I'm a law abiding citizen and willing to play by the rules regardless of how stupid those rules are.

Buy a grenade launcher instead? :p

But hey each to thier own, its nice to have more options for sale up here.

IF THIS CAME IN A HIGH GLOSS BLUE OR COLT ROYAL BLUE WITH WALNUT STOCKS I WOULD GET A SET OF THESE! BUT I DOUBT THIS WILL HAPPEN AS I LOVE ALL THE PPK'S ,MAUSER HCS'S AND JP SAURERS BROUGHT OVER BY ALL OUR GREAT VETERANS, AND ALWAYS WANTED ONE BUT DON'T HAVE THAT 12-6 CATEGORY:evil: AND I THOUGHT OUR LIBERAL GOVERMENT TREATED EACH CANADIAN EQUALLY:p HAHAHAH, DALE IN T-BAY

That's true, but I'm not particularly interested in really compact pistols so excuse me if I don't spend my money encouraging more manufacturers and dealers to get guns I'm not particularly interested in into the Canadian market. I hope there are enough of you to get what you want.

not a fan of extended barrels, didn't Boberg have a non shorty version of this pistol? I would be much more interested in that then a shorty with an extended barrel.
