Boberg XR9-L Owner Review (8 ammo, updated Feb/17/2013 to 475 rounds)

Finally took my platinum to the range. No issues, only 50 rounds down the pipe(Winchester Ranger Hp 147 grain) but sooo happy. Recoil was a bit more than expected but manageable. I also installed the 6lb hammer spring. I would like an over travel adjustable trigger. I may have to make it myself.
Anyway, I was not shooting paper so I do not have exact groups, but at 25 yards I was shooting 6" plates and at 50 yards 14" plates. Not to bad. Also I used the magazine followers with no issues, although I only loaded six rounds. I'm at the range, the gun needed to cool down, that's all I needed.

Tried mine finally. Very accurate even with 7.5 lb trigger. Recoil seemed about the same as a Walther PPQ (which is snappy). I had the 'walking pin' that I fixed later with red loctite. I tried the 6lb spring, but the thing vibrates very loud when dry fired, and I found the 7.5 lb more consistent so I switched it back.

Very reliable when actually firing, but the slide prefers to be slingshotted, as overhand racking can cause jamming.
