been eyeballin the new boberg...I have a m&P 4.25 9mm been really happy with but still a larger gun @ 7" length...the boberg looks like the smallest you can legally get in large bore in CA...wondering what any users/owners think?...weird internals, issues etc?...price is double a M&P but looks well built:confused:

Get a sub compact glock with a igb barrel you'll love it or get a sub compact m&p from irunguns get a gun with a proven track record

I bought one and so far I'm pretty impressed with it. It is a little different to run it, but once I figured that out I haven't had a problem. When you load it you have to slingshot the slide, you can ride it forward.

Pull the slide all the way back and let go completely. Do not keep your hand on the slide.
Bought one a couple of weeks ago and it it wonderfull. The fit and finish is excellant and it shoots my re-loads with no problem what so ever. They have to be crimped though.

m&p 4.25 is the smallest barrel in CA for those of us who did not luck out with a prohib...and I agree... I own 5 S&W guns from a original 72 dirty harry to the latest .22 1911 remake and the best weapons I have ever owned...but glock is the ugliest gun I have ever seen and despite their reputation can't hold one even lol...and ya what the hell is a igb barrel?

Its an aftermarket glock barrel
GIYF

IGB barrel's are made in Austria designed buy a former glock, steyr, caracal designer there finishes are very close to the originals with a blend of to traditional and polygonal rifling and a full supported chambers so they dont beat up the brass and you can shoot slugs so there good for reloders.

Besides that its mostly the grip length that that makes a gun smaller to me love my chunky short grip glock 30 (Igb barrel) it with some stout loads can be a hand full but it helps me with the recoil control and I am not a glock fan boy. Im a proud CZ fan boy.

I own one, has gone bang 400 so far no issues, most ppl that talk bad are ones that buy the guns cause they are nato approved or battle tested, i love the lil bastard.
