What some of you westerners forget is that in southern Ontario sometimes you only get a few acres to hunt so there really is no chance to hunt the wind.
I am no expert I. The matter bud all the old dudes in my family never had a problem with putting meat on the table without that stuffThey do.

I have to disagree with that...... only having a few acres to hunt most definitely means you must hunt the wind.....Anyway, never bother with scent control products but I do always pay attention to the wind, that and movement will give you away every time.

I've hunted southern Ontario before, was originally from northern ontario as well! Thats no excuse to get sloppy and not pay attention to the wind.
Some of you kids.... if you are hunting a hedgerow between properties and the prevailing winds come from the neighbours property, kindly tell me how to hunt the wind short of tresspassing on the neighbours property.
I wish I was one of the last windbenders but alas I am not.

Isn't hunting on the edge of the property kinda a bad idea? That deer goes 20 yards the other way, and now you can't recover it without trespassing?
