haha all good , thanks for the feedback though- its certainly been mixed responses, but alas- not was it done for You, rather I :)

only realistic lighter lefty is tikka plastic and i dont go for it but my lefty abolt is mine for the long haul- i love the bolt :D
 
I dont mind the bolt but the rest of the Swiss cheese look doesn't do anything but hey it's your rifle. I would have just went with the Tikka with talleys and had a better rifle. IMO anyway.

I might have chosen the Weatherby Ultra lite myself ...
But, would have spent more on the rifle and scope combo that WL is into this one for.
Second choice would have been the Browning A-bolt Ti, but no idea as to whether a left was ever produced or attainable in todays world.

yeah look it took long enough to find a suitable lefty- i am fond of the Abolt feel overall, stock etc, and 30-06 -done. its 2nd hand an used as a sambar gun, which down here refers to as carried thru scrub often but shot seldom- got it cheap enough-
will be the lefty i keep an rebarrel eventually if it comes to that-

so all good in this hood an yeah not a great way to waste money, but it had to be done once :)

Thanks Gents, i hunted it one Day with the Zeiss an then the LEupold rings turned up so i swapped them over an hunted it the next day (took the fine stag with) an my Gawd, -250grams or so certainly made it a SWEET SPOT.

Thanks!!............. could of almost gone 19 inch barrel in hindsight but may of got alot louder , if it were .308 perhaps it would of been a good idea.
none the less..... i got a Sweet lil Go To 30-06 that im happy to carry :)
