bolt .22?

The savage will never hold it's value like any CZ!! Savage makes an accurate disposable gun!! That's why CGN is saturated with savage of all kinds. Like most things in life, You Get what you Pay for!!!

Savage 22LRs are throw away? They may be but those are their introductory or inexpensive guns at just over $200.00. Does CZ make a $200.00 wiz bang gun? Dollar for dollar? Not a chance, check out the MK II TR at the link below. I bought mine for $500.00 and at 25 yards putting round after round into a 3/4" dot is child's play. 100 yards and crap ammo this gun still shoots tight groups. The gun is pure quality and great value, if you have to throw this gun away I'd have to wonder why. I have much more expensive firearms but the MK II trigger is the best of the lot, by a long stretch! Made in Canada!

Handle one of these guns with your eyes closed and you will know that you are in the presence of greatness.

One great value is the Zastava mp-22 or z-5 or remington model five. Superbe for the price they ask for! I ve had CZ, Savages, Cooeys, Toz, Marlins, Brownings, a Sako, Anschutz and a few others and IMO Zastava his on the top step as far as value.
Good luck.

One day you will catch on grasshopper.

Try a Norinco NS522 from Canada Ammo at half the price of a CZ...

Last week I printed 3- 5 shots group at 100m.2 groups 1.25" and 1 group at 1" with SK Standard Plus.

I'm fairly new to guns and I'm excited to start learning more. I'd really like to start with a .22 but I'm not 100% sure what the difference between many of them is. The two that have really caught my eye are the Savage mkII BVSS or the CZ 455 varmint. Anything else I should be looking at that might be better for target shooting?

I have a nice Cooey 60 for ya if you like...:)

I have a Savage BV (like it) and many CZ's (love them).
You can't beat quality...it will cost a bit more but I'd recommend a CZ. Or if you really want a quality .22 look for a BRNO before CZ took over.
Just my $0.02.
Whatever you get, enjoy!

Pick up a Cooey on the EE for around $150 and shoot away. If you want to upgrade you will get your money back easy.
