Bolt-Action 12 G's: Positives?

I'm ready to trade away/sell-off my Mossy 12-guage bolt-action; is there really any way in which it is better than a pump-action? I do like the poly-choke on it, though...

No there isn't. The polychoke on those old mssbergs was handy tho.

I just don't think I could bring myself to sell the old thing - the wood is nice, and the action is smooth. But I know I need a pump...

Don't blame you. Keep it. You're not going to get a lot for it and it must have some sentimental value.I own a lot of really beautiful guns, but the ones i wouldn't sell were gifts from my late mom and dad 40 years ago and they're not worth much. A cooey 840 .410 and a savage 67 12 ga. Look around , pumps aren't that expensive used.

In theory if you had two box mags reloading speed would be faster. But you don't really need to reload fast when hunting as whatever your shooting at is probably gone.
