Guys,
I do almost all of my shooting off-range - I have access to a big parcel of farmland, which is also where I do gopher control.
Since I'm usually shooting from the grassy ground or the roof of my truck, I tend to lose brass easily. I find it annoying to have to reach under the action to the ejection port to catch the brass with my off-hand every time I cycle the action. It makes followup shots on gophers a little tougher.
My question - is there a commercially available or homemade 'brass catcher' than can be used? I'm thinking about making one with some coathanger wire and pantyhose, but I'd like to know if a better setup exists.
I did a search on here, and came up with nothing of use. Even google couldn't find what I'm looking for. Does it exist?
To complicate it further, I shoot LH actions, so finding something commercial might not be possible.
Any ideas/plans for a home brew setup?
