Bolt action m14 mags from Archangel

I think there's to many "ifs" about those mags. Including its a modified m14 mag that was still originally designed for an m14 that would have to be pinned to 5 in a m14. If I understand the law correctly that is. Also since its been changed to feed from the centre of the mag, that may cause issues since the m14 chamber is designed to be fed from the left or the right. Based on just those two main issues I wouldn't hold my breathe. I would love to be proved wrong though.

If the magazine is a M-14 magazine modified to be used with the stock unit, I fear it would have to be pinned at 5 rounds.
If it is an M-14 type rifle manufactured for the stock unit, it should be OK, however.....
If there is a little square hole in the front wall of the magazine box, I think it is doomed.
If it doesn't have the little square hole, and if it doesn't work in a M-14, it will be fine as a bolt action rifle magazine.
The AIA rifle was designed around the M-14 magazine. To keep them from being limited to 5 rounds, the magazine was redesigned, modified slightly and newly manufactured.

I don't think that a M-14 two position feed magazine will fit the opening in the bottom of a Remington receiver, thus the single position feed arrangement.

Incidentally with all the M-14 owners salivating at the possibility of a legal 20 round magazine for their M-14s, this discussion is very likely going to result in a very detailed examination of these magazines by the powers that be.
Any bets on their interpretation?

I wouldn't get your hopes up too much. The Armalite AR-10 mags are modified M14 as well and as current, they wouldn't work either. There are many ways to mod a mag other than pinning, for example the AR-10 mags replace the rear mag catch tab rendering it impossible to use in other platforms without heavy (and illegal) mods.

Ok, now before anyone get crazy on the 20 rd mag thing, this rifles mag are very different. Look at time frame 1:37 min and see the mag. Might fit but not likely...

They might if the M305 barrel had feed ramps made for the mag and the mag lips were at the correct height for the bolt to strip out a round.

The AR10 mags made during the ban had to retain the catch on the rear of the magazine.
The current offerings omit the catch alltogether.

I use the older AR10 mags in my M1as and Chinese polytechs all the time.

AIA magazines are two position feed; these are one. But if the bolt does not foul the feed lips, the magazine might work in an AIA, or be adaptable. There has been no supply of magazines for use in AIA rifles for some time. If they work, there is another market.

These mags are for the bolt action only! Modifying them to fit an M14 would give you a prohibited mag, much like removing a rivet in a 20/5 mag.
