This guy has a bit of a mad scientist energy. He also made a falling block double rifle.

It might not be the world's most practical gun but it has "grand complication" vibes. Over engineered on purpose to show off the skills of its maker

Shorts won't embed. Well, there's a way, I saw it mentioned on another thread, but you've got to change the url IIRC.


I didn't realize the embedded video wasn't the same gun the OP is talking about. Still thinking it looks fragile with the bolt open, but without the hinge it somehow feels less fragile, even though it's telescoping much farther.
