Hey guys,

Now I know precision rifles might not be the best place to post this, but this is the best place I could find.

Looking at the Savage 10 BAS rifle, and I am wondering if there are any competitors to it, with the 10 shot magazine capacity.

Thanks!

Any of the newer Savage 10's in .308 with the centre-feed mags can accept a 9-rd mag from SharpShooter Supply. Not quite 10, but 9+1. Definitely the least expensive way to go, since the mags are only $75.

The Envoy that Ganderite sold to me came with one.

The Police/Military Remington models that come with HS magazines can use 10 round 308Win Magazines from HS Precision.

The Long Action Remingtons in non-magnum calibers can get the Quick clip that will hold 10 rounds, however it only holds 8 rounds in mag calibers.

V-Bull Precision offers magazine conversion floor plates that use AI magazines that can be had in 10 rounds as well.

what do you mean by "competitor"?

Sako TRG 22 has a 10rnd magazine.

Competitor I mean anything similar, basically price, and magazine.

That Sako looks like a very nice rifle, but the price is just a bit too much.

You can get 10 rounders for the Steyr Scout.

The scout also looks nice, but again, I think the price is going to be too much from what I have seen.

Thanks though :)

Computer was down this weekend, so I will look into you guys insights a little later :)

Ah, I couldn't ever scope that thing.

Not sure why, but I like old things to stay the way they are.

Thanks for the offer though :)

There are plenty of mounting options that wont supposedly "ruin" a Enfield. Mind you both Military and Police issued versions of marksman/sniper rifles had drill and tap mounts. :)

I have both the styer scout and the TRG, they are well worth the money IMO

If you could mail me a seed or two off your money tree I will gladly plant them :)

They are both very nice looking rifles. I didn't even know that the scout came with all the features it has, ie. fold out bipod built in, extra magazine storage.

Oh, no, not ruin the rifle itself, but ruin the rifles appearance. I'm not sure, I just want them to stay the same as when they were made.

New items can be modified in anyway and it doesn't bother me hehe.
