Ok , I love how this gun points and shoots, have had a couple failed to eject when shooting, but have had that before in any gas auto. I lost my bolt handle in the pond the other night and am desperately looking to get a replacement . But can't find one that ships to Canada, and Remington is back ordered with the part. Anyone know where I can get a replacement part?

try contacting a european dealer listed on their site

one point, dont bother with edgar brothers in the UK.they are the english version of north sylva

best of luck

In the mean time, just use a slotted screwdriver to open the action. If you're thoughtful, you'll only need to use it to unload a single unfired shell.

Quick question, with no derail intent.

Is the versa max charging held in with the spring loaded detent ball like the 1100??

With all the 1100 charging handles laying in the dirt somewhere, I'm surprised they didn't reengineer that set up.

I am surprised at your comment as I have been shooting a number of 1100;s over the years and have yet to lose a charging handle, sounds more like poor assembly after cleaning!!

It's been redesigned so the ball detent is in the bolt unlike the 1100/11-87 where the ball detent and spring were part of the action bar.

The problem with the 1100 is the operating handle plunger retainer, a small thin piece of pot metal than holds the plunger (ball) and spring in place. It occasionally cracks and the bolt handle goes flying. When I shot an 1100 I always had a these parts and several others in a spares kit. When you order replacement parts for an 1100 always order them in pairs at least.

Thank you sir

the versa max uses a beneli m2 charging handle
we make an over sized one
that said there seems to be an issue with the charging handle and the versa max and I have seen many come out at 3 gun match, my own included.
On some forums, people are saying there is going to be a recall.
