The rest is made from a 10 cent 3/8ths bolt from the hardware store.

Be curious if the hardware store bolt will handle the side loads of an energetic cycling?

well if the crap cast they use at the factory hold up I bet a bolt would too...Time will tell

If it can handle the savage bolt lift it can handle anything

What savage bolt knobs do you have in stock? Doing lots of savage rebarrels lately and everyone wants tactical knobs. I'd rather buy em then make em. BT knobs are like 15$ from brownells but I find them too short. The new savage tac knobs are nice.
