bolt head damaged ?

in the chanel, is that a damaged ? just noticed it. Rifle supposed to be lnib less than 2 boxes

It is a chamfer made that way so it doesn't hang up on cycling the bolt...

I compared with my 1982 BDL and its not the same but a friend of mine has another 700 and its the same as this one so Remington built different pattern over the years I guess
