Bolt jewelling diy.

I have a jig and cratex rod setup. Haven’t used it in many years. Worked good the few bolts I did but I sort of lost interest in jeweling. Not really my style. At the time I was doing them to hold more oil and reduce chances of rusting. Whether that’s actually a benefit is debatable, I have no evidence either way.
 
I have used a round wire brush with shrink tube around it and abrasive diamond paste, if you have a 3d printer there are some files on line for a jig or you could quite easily make one
 
I did a knife blade and a Swede bolt several years back.
I used valve grinding compound, a drill press, 1/2" wood dowel, aand a milling vice from Princess Auto.
I turned the milling vice handle one or two turns to get the spacing equal (can't remember exactly)
I used valve grinding compound from and auto parts store I've had for years.
