Bolt Lift 98 Mauser

Just had a Dakota 3 position safety put on a 98 Mauser. It functions flawlessly until it's fired. The bolt is very stiff on lifting to extract and recock. I've check the external of the bolt and see no evidence of binding? I am using the original bolt body, firing pin,cocking piece, spring. extractor and collar. Would there be any interference between the cocking piece and the new shroud? Any other ideas?

Take it apart and remove the spring and without the spring check how everthing engages and moves.

Maybe try the old shroud just to see?

Possibly too dry? Maybe a bit of lube?
