Bolt opens too easy

Here we go again..................:D

I don't know anyone out here who hunts with a chamber hot. Everyone hunts with the mag loaded and bolt closed on an empty chamber until ready to shoot.

I know I do, guess I'm the only one then. Having a firearms instructer for a father, it was always drilled into my head never to hunt with a hot chamber. I'd rather loose a moose then have an accident. If you do loose an animal for the split second it takes to chamber a round, then it probably wasn't going to be a good shot anyway.

i just single feed a round from a wrist carrier when i am ready to shoot, so when i am walking around usually even the mag is empty as well... although i admit this is excessive.
most hunters that i do know rely far too much on the safety. they get out of their car, load their gun, chamber a round and pop the safety on... and this is how they walk around all day. it makes me a little uneasy.

btw i have this same problem with one of my Mosins: the bolt opens very easily when it is cocked. engaging the safety locks it in place but the Mosin safety is bad enough at the range, out in the cold with gloves on its a bloody nightmare.

if its #### on opening then simply dont chamber a round, and decock the gun and it should no longer open easily.
