Bolt removal for a 190

Hey everyone!.

I recently bought a target rifle that was make in West Germany. I believe it was make in 1966 from a stamp on the barrel that has the numbers 66 and a buck/elk antler beside it.

I cant seem to get the bolt out of the rifle. I've tried everything short of a full disassembly. I had also downloaded the manual for the model 1403 series rifle from the website. It says to push a spring loaded lever (on the left hand side of the receiver, looking from the back) while pulling the trigger with the bolt unlocked and slide it out but my rifle doesn't have that spring loaded lever. I have already tried just simply pulling the trigger with the bolt unlocked and seeing if it comes out.

Any help would be appreciated!

The only thing I can think of is to back off your receivcer screws just a little bit. I know on mine I can not get the bolt in if I tighten them too much.

On some of my Brno's I have to push the trigger forward to remove the bolt (the opposite of pulling it as in other models). Have you tried that?
 
On mine ,I take the safety off and pull the trigger and the bolt slides out. If there is some dirt or something preventing the trigger from going all the way to the rear it could cause this. Pull it out of the stock and have a good look.Mine is also a mid '60's model
 
OP, it is possible the overtravel adjustment is turned down so tight you cannot pull the trigger far enough back to release the bolt. Try taking the action out of the stock and see if you can tell why the bolt isn't coming out.

Hey guys,

Much appreciated with the advice.

Finally I had a chance to take it out of the stock and managed to get the bolt out.

The tab on the bottom of the reciver doesn't go down far enough to let the bolt out.
After some lubrication and messing with the trigger adjustments I seem to be able to get the tab to come down enough to get the bolt out but I really have to press on the trigger fairly hard to get down enough.

So i played with the 2 screws and it worked enough.
