bolt removal rem. model 600?

You won't really need to see it to do this. Use any very small screwdriver and slide it in between the bolt and reciever on the left side looking from the rear of the gun. Push the screwdriver down and pull the bolt out. Once the bolt is out, you will be able to see the bolt latch

I just saw this thread......

In my "gunsmithing" screwdriver set I keep a Remington 600 bolt removal tool. You may THINK it is a popsicle stick, but it is in fact a custom selected bolt removal tool for the 600 and 660 rifles. ;)

Works better than a screwdriver or knife, and even my tired old eyes can use it just fine. If you need one, please send me $5.00 for the Deluxe Haagen-Dazs style, or $1 for the no-name freeze pop style.........:p

Hey you charged me more than that:p

Back to asusual.........well of course I did. THAT bolt removal tool was custom made for that rifle, look at the serial number on the thin edge of the wood (if it hasn't worn off yet)

I keep a regular popsicle stick around for Remington 600 bolt removal purposes,it doesn't scratch the blueing like metal will. Mine are free, you pay shipping.
