Bolt replacement question

I have a rifle that does not have a bolt, 30.06 Ruger M77 Tang safety. Can it be replaced by any other long action bolt (270, 300 etc) or does it have to be another 30.06?

The bolt face needs to match - so a .30-06 rim diameter is needed. A magnum bolt face won't work.

After that, headspace still needs to be checked.

Any long action bolt with the correct bolt face would go in the rifle.
However, the fit of the bolt (proper locking lug contact) and headspace would need to be confirmed.
