Bond arms long slide bullpup

Forgotten Weapons has done a highlight video on weapon malfunctions in slow motion high speed capture.

Ian was told by Bond Arms to NOT use Blazer ammo because of the lack of a tight taper crimp... so he buys Blazer ammo and films what happens of course! He calls it one of his most glorious high speed shots. This is the one failure of the system: you have to use a tight crimp.

Boberg part is at 330 seconds:

That's why I didn't buy an original Boberg. If money was no object whatever, and some guys say they've never had had a problem - but this issue goes beyond Blazer ammo. I'd consider one of these new style

Got to disagree with you when you say this issue goes beyond Blazer. Never tried Blazer in mine even though I have some. Blazer was on Arnie’s list of factory ammo that had poor crimps so didn’t use it. I tried quite a few that weren’t on the caution list and all worked perfectly. I now reload my own and never had a problem. It’s a nice pistol to shoot and I certainly have no regrets buying it.

I too am patiently waiting for a Canadian version. I have written Bond Arms a couple of times asking over the last year or so...

Wanstalls, what say you? Perhaps a nudge would help things along...

I have the original and would love to get this one to match it but it's not even on their website so I will not hold my breath

Any updates on these? Would love to have one.

Was looking for a Boberg XR9L but they are no where to be found. Looks like Bond Arms bought them out.
