Bone charcoal

Hi,

Have couple 1911 slides to color case harden, but I ran out of my stock long ago... Any idea where one can purchase, preferably in Alberta, if not anywhere in Canada?

Your local butcher will sell you bones. Make your own.

I was hoping to take that route as last resort... It is going to be a smelly as well as messy process that I'm trying to avoid...

They don't ship them international; Hazardous Material... Don't understand why though; found another source in USA that will actually ship the same product for double the price!

My wife says any garden center will sell bone meal by thee pailfull. In Calgary try Golden Acres
