So I get this movie on pay per view and see these desert eagles and I am in AWE

D@MN those are big compensators.

not really meant for any kind of concealment, i'm thinking :D

on another note...i held a DE for the first time yesterday...wow, the size and weight were impressive, to say the least. can't imagine if it had a compensator like that.
 
AMAZING movie hahaha I brought that on my trip to Europe and watched it about 4 times on the flights hahaha

if it wasn't for those "compensators", you wouldn't even know he's holding a gun in his hand. need SOMETHING as a visual cue to say "psst, he's actually holding a gun in his hand!"
 
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. For instance I think those fake compensators or whatever they are supposed to be look pretty silly.

Yea but to the movie goers they look big and bad. They don't know what they are or why they are so big. The bigger guns always win in the movies and they are bigger than the bad guys in this one..:yingyang: They aren't catering to gun nutz. If they were there'd be a hand loading session in there somewhere.:)
 
Personally, the first one was better, so were their guns! Although their gunsmith/dealer/fencer of stolen stuff to acquire firepower guys room was much better this time around! The Taurus 9mm from the first one looks more realistic, and the fact that they werent wearing masks bothered me as well. If your toting DE with flash suppressor/muzzle brakes on them around, I suppose to dont need a mask. Still, a great flick!!!
 
I suppose they don't need masks since they capped that Mafia Don in the middle of a crowded courtroom without them on.

I was hoping they were going to do the whole movie with the "Jesus hair and beards" that they were sporting at the very beginning. :D

I like Boondock Saints better, i'm sorry but that southern cop annoyed the hell out of me. Acted too much like William Dafoe's character, and he did that role excellent. But her... ew.

I love those compensators though. Magnum research now has one for the XIX Desert Eagle :) I want it.. comes in .44 and .50AE
