Boone by himself

Boone and I went out today and I didn't check the forecast so by noon it was raining and being a bit of a suck called the day and went to a local cafe for lunch when the rain socked it. He had a pretty good morning but one bird landed in a tree and it took us a good while to find it. A passing hunter was good enough to take a picture for us.

Wild or released birds (not that it matters).
Looks like Boone has some interest over yonder.
Great day having the company of ones dog a gun in hand some exercise and a couple of birds to show.

Wild birds are all there are here so they're getting smarter every week. Boone was looking at some cranes in a field down the road, I think he believes they're a little creepy.

Hey Boone I hear there is some snow on the ground this morning in the Regina area.
You guys going to try and stalk some colorful birds in the white stuff ??
