Boots, boots, boots

I bought the Lowa's in desert tan ones before, but now am shifting my stuff to forest green for hunting. Can I use shoe polish or something to darken the boots I have without wrecking them?

I have the Reebok steel (composite)toes with side zip for work, they are a great boot, really really light weight, the side zip is nice. (third or forth pair now).

They do wear a little bit quick for a work bit which is the downside of a lightweight boot, but I would rather be comfortable and replace them earlier then uncomfortable for longer. For summer weather they are nice and light.

Also they do not have the same type of support a mountain boot has.

I was working in a potash plant with them (K&S), they lasted a year, also was working mostly on the 8th floor, walking up and down steel grating 8 floors around 5 times a day, they held up decently, the lightweight was a real bonus for that, I would reccomend them
