Bore Cleaner

I our game using wipeout is not fast enough. When you clean after every target nothing beats 2 or 3 wet patches, followed by about 15 to 20 strokes with a bronze brush, let soak while you load. Then 2 wet patches, dry with 2 or 3, and finish with Eezox or Lockeze before going back to the line. The only difference is between classes, using Iosso in the first 10 to 12 inches of the barrel and working the area a carbon ring forms.

I have yet to believe that soaking with Wipeout will remove a carbon ring.

It hasn't changed much in 50 years...

We used to clean between after a target with a few passes of Hoppes #9 and then dry patch. Depending on your barrel shoot one or two foulers before the next on target... after a match occasionally use JB Bore Cleaner if accuracy dropped off. And records were set... You got to know that barrel...

Wipe out is good
But not on carbon
I haven't tried em all but the ThoroClean has worked extremely well for me ..especially with RL16 which has in the past been very problematic with carbon in the throat

Did the Wipe-out foam spray, still have a couple cans, its okay for sitting overnite.

Moved on to "Patch-Out" (same company) Less hassle, no guessing how long to spray, no waste.

Awesome news.
Hope you picked up a couple of bottles, would have been the same shipping.
I think people forget they even have a gun shop.
Last year I ran out of 'Super Blue', stopped in to see if they had some.
As I was going up the stairs thought it would be nice if it came in a bigger bottle...
Guess what they had!!!

Is it a Good Bore Cleaner too ? RJ

I’ve used lots of different stuff over the years and was pretty sold on Wipe-Out foam, if you leave it overnight. I usually put a couple of squirts through it over the course of a day, and also rotate my barrels 90 degrees 3-4 times over 24 hours, and that works pretty good if you stay ahead of big fouling. But for carbon rings and heavy fouling, or if you can’t wait overnight to do barrel cleaning, the best thing I’ve used is the Thoro-Clean.
Works quick and gets both hard carbon and copper out. Maybe the least labour intensive product I’ve used.
