Bore guides

I've just bought a Savage 12 F/TR .308 and haven't found a bore guide local to me. Looking for info on where to purchase. Thanks.

Just about any gun store should supply them. Usually at least a universal one.

Mike Lucas makes probably the best guide going. He custom makes each guide for your action plus you provide him with your rod diameter and he makes a rod insert that perfectly aligns the rod while cleaning. I just received one and it fits like a glove for my AI rifle and works better than any other guide I have used.

I can't find them anywhere and nobody ships to Canada.

Mike responded back he doesn't ship to Canada.

I have a house in the Phoenix area and have been down here for the last week. I had it shipped to my address here. Why he doesn't ship to Canada I don't know, he used to but not anymore. I just ordered an action cleaning kit from Sinclair and they ship to Canada no problem.

Thanks for the suggestions gentlemen, it's tough trying to get things from the US I've found out. I have access to a lathe at work and a good supply of delrin plastic so I'm going to try making one and then when it fits right I'll make one from aluminum.
