I guess that's one way to look at it

This wasn't meant as a slag on any store, more just a suggestion that if you're mailing something to a gunsmith, maybe just ask for pictures before they sent it back. That would've at least addressed the stamping problem.

Looks like work from a grade 8 shop class except I can't imagine anyone end product like that being allowed out the door of the said shop class.

I'd be willing to bet money that the test shots were simply dropped into the feeding path and dammed home. I'd be in some fine rage if I were in your shoes. You must be on good meds.

My rifle i had them rebarrel had no stamping at all, which is better than above, as i had it done cnc.
