Borescopes

Looking at various bore scopes with the intent of purchasing one for checking out rifle bores. Any experience with Hawkeye products?

I have one, and its a great tool to know what is going inside and figure out problems.
then you know case by case if barrel need break-in shots or not and how your throat goes on with time( wear, overheat cracks, ) the only thing you cannot see with a borescope in a thight spot which you find by slugging the barrel. very simple procedure

I use the Hawkeye, and for the inexperienced what you see will scare you. Very valuable tool though.

If I can ask...where did you get yours?

Have you considered a bore cam. My lyman works very well although i have not looke through a borescope to compare. The hawkeye is about 4 times the price
