You know your feed and depth of cut are set right when you get a soft chip doubling back on itself working it's way out the muzzle as you bore the chamber diameter... not a great picture but it's a very small chip about 24 inches long...

Betting it's a Stainless Barrel, yes?

Some of that stuff takes a determined effort to get the chips to break.
