Just ordered a B&C M40 stock and Im looking for a bottom metal for it. I was looking at getting the Atlasworxs from Coretac Solutions. Just wondering if you guys know of any others that are worth while?

Savage SA 4.4

;) Shot it for the first time yesterday and it worked like a charm. Rounds feed as smooth as anyone could ask for in this top of the line savage rifle. :p

cheers

I just put a couple savages together from the parts bin, myself. A 30-06 Improved, and a fast twist 223. Both are working and shooting well, at least as much as the loads I have tried. Both had issues zeroing though, had to work a couple combinations of base, rings to get that sorted. Good guns though, as you said. - dan

Yeah they work for me and what I need them to do. When I got into bolt guns the stevens 200 was the budget rifle to get and play around with different triggers and barrels, so I got a couple of them. That and the model 12s, pretty much the same thing.
