Bought a new addition today :) Picked it up! PICS!! Kydex!

Well after all the Glock talk over the past few days I decided to just go out and buy one. I went to "The Calgary Shooting Centre" and bought a brand new Glock 17 gen3, to go with the new purchase I added 1200 rounds of 9mm 124g fmj. This isn't my first Glock, I owned a Glock 22 before but ended up selling it to my brother (always regretted it), I found myself always using my LoneWolf barrel with it to shoot 9mm, so this time I figured I'd buy the 17. Now to buy some mags.

BTW I was really impressed with the staff at the Calgary Shooting Centre, very knowledgeable and made for a extremely smooth transaction.

Picked it up yesterday, sorry for the cell phone pics.

A fellow CGN'R has made me a Kydex holster for it and its in the mail right now, can't wait

$699, they have 3 left. With the pistol and the 1200rds of 9mm it came to $1020 tax included, not a bad deal I figure.

Congrats! I have the same Gen 3 Glock 17, late production. As you notice, the newer ones' slide finish aren't jet black like they used to be, they're more of a grey. (ala the gen 4) I kind of like it.

I love the look and of the Kydex holster, that pistol is definitely not going anywhere other than where you want it to go. Does this Rollie gent make them for anyone or is it the 'close circle of friends' type of thing. Just asking...
