I recently treated myself, happy birthday to me, to a Ruger GP100 Stainless 4.2" model (KGP-141 I believe). It comes with the black molded rubber Hogue grips as I'm sure most people are aware. But... I'm not crazy about the grips so far. I plan on shooting it for awhile stock in order to get a true 'feel' for it. The three things I've seen that I am interested in changing would be 1.Front sight upgrade, probably a Hiviz fibre optic. 2.Spring kit and trigger work, although I gotta say I personally think the trigger isn't as bad as I've been lead to believe from others. 3.Grips, debating between the original version of grips the GP-100 used to come with (rubber with wood insert) or the Match Champion wood stippled Hogue version (providing they fit).
