I never heard of these until an hour ago when one popped up under the used handgun section of my favorite gun store, the GUNDEALER,McAdam New Brunswick. Its a .22 caliber,Peacemaker style revolver, that so far Ive learned,is of mediocre quality and no collector value. Kinda gets a fella all excited eh?

Truth is,I was looking for a .22 revolver for sometime, and I missed out on a Smith here on the EE not long ago. Im just wondering if any of you know anything about them. They were built in West Germany back in the 1960s and I understand parts are not easy to find. Heres the picture of the actual gun

Yes , I remember them. These were made back in the 60's and were low quality guns.
The metallurgy on these guns is not very good so I wouldn't suggest heavy use at the range.
Lots more info on google

Here you go...

Thanks! Magnum 240,how do you like yours?
Its only .22LR,it should stand up to that. I understand there was a magnum cylinder for these, but that really loosened them up.

I believe they are the exact same gun as Herbert Schmidt.

I had one of those.. nicely made, no issues, and iirc marstar has some info on them as far as parts. (Do they still have the page with manuals?)

Not likely you'll need parts IMO. Good shooter and accurate.

Enjoy. Btw, the herberts sell for about $250 ish in vg condition.
