Bought Beretta 92FS

I ordered a 92FS Inox from Wolverine Supplies on November 23rd. While their service was excellent, and Ryan was extremely helpful, their supplier took too long to ship the pistol. With the upcoming election, I want to have it in my hands. I found this 92FS in stock at Al Simmons, so I bought it. Ryan refunded my initial deposit, minus the cost of the mag reloader and snap caps that I ordered from him. So I got the gun from Al Simmons, but I kept the rest of my order with Wolverine. Al's had a 96FS Inox, but I don't want a .40 because of the cost of ammunition. Now I need to find a D-Spring somewhere.

Edit: Also, the more I look at them, I like the looks of the all-stainless Inox over the new ones with the black polymer parts. Maybe a used one farther down the road.
 
I have a Sig 220 9, and I love it, but a Braigader (sp.) Inox 92FS would be too sweet to pass up, it looks awsome. Would you trade up (might cost some money too)
 
Thanks guys. I'm not a huge fan of the Brigadier variety of Beretta's, I really don't like the "recontoured" slide. Since I bought this pistol now, I HAVE to buy an Inox later, right? :D

I thought there is(was?) an inox 92 made in italy for sale here for about $750 or so.

See you made the same mistake like I did and got Bruniton. So yes you have to get an inox to your collection later. :p

Definitely get the D spring, hogue grips is also good to have depending on the size of your hands.
 
Ah...the classic plain-jane Bruniton 92FS. My personal fave.

Congrats on the new Beretta bud, you did good.

I was just about to head over to the bank to get the cash to go pay for that Breetta 92 when I read your post.Damn I knew I should have just used the plastic yesterday.
I hate you, now I`ll have wait for one to come in.

Sorry about that, you could always get that 96 Inox! :D I hear Beretta's very slow on delivery this time of year, hence why I dropped my order at Wolverine.

Edit: I wonder if they put it away so people aren't constantly playing with it?

Corey they are great at Simmons and if you bought the gun it was put in the factory case and locked in the safe right away, they don`t leave sold guns out on display.
The inox they have in is .40 my Storm is 9mm, see where this going?
Anyway good luck with the 92 and congrats on beating me too it.
 
Thanks for the info, good to know about it. Dave was very helpful and professional on the phone. Now I need some sort of spell to make the CFO work faster. I was considering getting the Inox .40 and getting a 9mm barrel for it down the line, but I think I'd rather have two Beretta's anyway. :D

Thanks shelby, Paulette called here Beretta rep and she will know Tuesday if he has one in stock.
If not I will give Epps a call, they are great to deal with been there many times.

Plenty, especially w.r.t. D/A pull. It is literally a five-minute trigger job. The improvement is especially apparent when you directly compare the trigger pulls of guns with and without the lighter spring.
