if you live in Saskatchewan or wherever I ran down to Prairie GunTraders in Avonlea today to pick up a savage axis combo in .223, and have to say this fella has his s&#t together and is an Awesome dealer , so if you are in market ya might wanna consider them

Have 3 edge/axis they are great guns for what they are, knock around work horses. if you want fancy or a thousand yards spend the extra. If you want a back seat - tractor carry and use piece they make few better. tough, accurate and simple

The Axis is a good rifle bought one for my grand son and it is a neat little 243 to shoot giving a honest MOA with Hornady Superformance SST 95 gr just change the scope for a Redfield Revolution 4X12X40, what the heck how can you go wrong for 328.00 and its a Savage... JP.

I have gotten two guns from Darren.All i did was called him told himmy info what gun i wanted said that the money order for them was in the mail and in a couple of days my gun was at my house. Cant complain about that service.One of the guns i got was a 111fcxp3 in the 300 winmag.Took it out to the range sighted it in not that it needed much sighting in. Used it last year for deer hunting and dropped my deer and 150 yards in one shot. I really like that gun and plan on using it every year from know on.

yes i have kept the original scope on it so far. If it decides to start to fail i will change it or i just might put something better on and keep that one for a smaller calibre gun

Make sure the front lense circle clip is tight if not a small screwdriver and a rubber mallet and tight it conterclockwise.. it give there first usualy but if you keep and eye on it you wont have any problems... JP.
