I just bought an H&K SFP9. Just the waiting game for the transfer now. This will be my first 9mm, I've been shooting my .22LR pistol which has been a ton of fun and cheap. It was so hard to decide between the H&K, Glock 17, Beretta APX and a couple other solid firearms. All of them felt great, but something about the feel of the ergonomics and quality of the H&K over the Glock 17 that sold it for me. The Glock seemed like a great buy as well, seeing how it would have come with 3 mags instead of 2 so more money in the end having to buy an extra mag for the H&K. I know I'll own a Glock one day but I know I wont be disappointed with the SFP9. Heres hoping!. Cheers.

Congrats, very nice pistol for your first 9!! I've had the chance to shoot a couple of them and enjoyed them very much, hope your transfer comes through quickly, lol, nothing worse than waiting for a new handgun :)

Congrats! They're a very nice pistol and smooth shooter. I had one briefly and only sold it because the slide lock fell under my thumb.

It was a fair contender against my USP.

On the contrary, I bought G17 first and then SFP 9mm. Both are good quality and accuracy. Now full metal gun is in my consideration. Its like a never end game.

Absolutely! At first the wait doesn't seem bad...Then a week passes and I can no longer wait lol. Heres hoping the transfer on this one is quick and easy.

Really nice gun overall, great trigger
I'll probably pick one up when they decide to release it with the button mag release instead of the paddle design

That paddle is different for sure. And will take some getting used to. However I do believe a traditional button release will soon be available.

SFP9 owner showed me his mag release technique, used his support hand thumb to drop mag, never broke grip with strong hand. I tried it, liked it. Cool pistol, if I ever get into poly’s it’s on the list.

The only thing I don't like about mine is I find the slide release to be almost flush with the frame. If it stuck out another 1/16 of an inch it would be perfect

I love the way it feels in my hands. But it hurts my trigger finger, havent shot it enough to figure out what's happening. Doesn't happen in any of my other pistols or revolvers.

Congrats on the great choice! I bought mine last year and have put many rounds through it. It is my IDPA gun and has helped me improve my scores. I've recently bought a P320 and ran it out for the last match. I love bought pistols but the SFP9 is definitely a great shooter.
