I'm waiting for my Sig 1911 Tactical Operations to show up. I fondled a C3 for a while but it was a little small for my hands, well length was a bit too short...

Something just right about the 1911 design though.

The LDA series of pistols from para,might be based off the 1911 in many respects ,it borrows many of the same features and parts.But a true 1911 can only be a 1911 if it's SINGLE ACTION.For the money and overall bang for the buck the LDA series will work nicely for most people.(And they look pretty nice)But of true 1911 form or design they are not,Some of the best gunsmiths in the biz refuse to label the LDA series a 1911 ,because it is simply not.
