bought my first AND 2nd glock ... maybe some regrets lol

Nope totally over "random" internet guys head.... I didn't even catch you rolling your eyes nearly into the back of your skull.
Don't let the pictures keep you up at night, or inspect your own kit and post pictures of your mythical million mile 40....

Don't have one of those but I do have a Gen 1.5 G23 with 60K+ through it. I don't know what pics would show, it looks about like it did after 10K - which is about what it looked like after 4200 when I cleaned it for the first time...

This is totally normal, my BNIB unfired g34 is exactly the same as yours. Also, I think you are now with no regrets at all, hahaha.

oh im sure we just took a bite of a massive poision carrot here(with the buying/selling frenzie) Reminds me the time i watched someone pull into the mostly empty parking lot at a mall and throw a loaf of bread out. what was a peacfull bunch of seaguls hanging around, turned into the most chaoas imaginable.

I took some of the above advice and bought me a new gen 5 g22..... wich i picked up friday! kinda looks like a high point lol but whatever(that slide is phat!) we will save all regrets for later thats for sure.

post to follow, with some pictures and measurments.

So some more entertainment/dis information, or whatever you get or take out of this.

Brought home my second glock, this time a new gen5 g22

Its quite a bit different, the only parts that will be interchangable are the sights, maybe the striker spring, extractor and..... trigger pin?? the new g22 is nearly 3 oz heavier! The external dimensions of the frame are nearly identical, other than the finger groves. the depth and girth of the grip is the same, the width of the frame is also the same. the slide is remarkably larger/heavier however. the striker tip/hole is egg shaped instead of a rectangle... kinda odd they switched that up. it will not fit into a gen 4 safariland 7377-835, or any other moulded holster i suspect.

a brief list of weight/dimentional difference of some of the components, hopfuly this turns out. accuracy not garronteed

Gen4 Gen5
Frame 138g 143g
slide bare 386g 450g
slide comp. 515g 590g
total weigh(no mag) 650g(23oz) 732g(25.8oz)

Slide width 1.005" 1.080" dif of .075"
slide height .850" .880" dif of .030
barrel width chamber .605" .625" dif of .020"
barrel width .590" .610" dif of .020"

after some dry fire practice the finish is already doing this??

Never use a firearm that is doubtful, many people unload their garbage here, I always make sure of 100% seller ratings, ask for sellers pal when they ask for mine, no reciprocation then no interest & I want many pics sent of all actions etc as well as serial #, again, good & honest sellers have no issues forthcoming, the rest are rip off artists or ego idiots wasting my time and money
