Bought my first AR - NEA in 7.62x39

Im glad that Nea took care of you and i hope the rifle works out for you. Just keep an eye on those bolt lugs after every range trip. When i got my Gen2 bolt replacement the bolt lugs were worn out after couple hundred rounds and caused FTF. Good luck

Just wanted to drop in and update you guys again. Had my first cold day at the range yesterday, -42 w/windchill. Rifle perfromed flawlessly - ran through 300 rounds of romanian surplus. Seems my stash of x39 is dissapearing at an alarming rate!

Anything new to update us with since your last range trip. I'm interested in getting on myself shortly.

Nothing exciting thankfully. I've put over 1100 rounds of corrosive ammo through it since the repair without a single problem. I would support your decision to buy one, everyone who shoots it really seems to enjoy it. Epps is taking my NEA mags back, I'll be picking up more ASC units when they are in stock.

I've got a couple videos planned for the next month or so. Picked up some QD mounts for my red dot and scope, will test how they hold zero as I plan on swapping them regularly.

Also managed to get my hands on 6 different types of ammo for it, will see how they group and cycle with the rifle.
