I bought a M&P 9mm and a case of 500 rounds of ammo, i think im in love. Now i just have to wait for the transfer to go through. Gun shop said about 2 weeks for bc...does that sound about right?
Happy shooting 😊

Welcome to the world of handguns :) :) As per the 2 weeks, like Bill said above, its usually two weeks for the certificate to come in the mail, transfers are quick max 3-5 days.

Happy shooting

very nice & congrats! keep in mind the apex flat faced trigger upgrade down the road. it will improve m&P a lot.

Usually overnight for me.

Get the reference number and call the CFO, the usually approve it quicker. But since it's your first, they may make you wait. Couldn't hurt to ask.

they can email you the transfer

500 rounds? You 're gonna need a lot more than that!
While you're waiting, pick up a cleaning kit, cleaner/solvent, targets ( I recommend just printing the ones you want online) and whatever else you may need to fill the range bag.

I assume your M&P is the range kit? If not, you'll probably want to buy a proper holster and mag holder. You will also need a good gun belt. 1.5" is the norm.

Buying a gun doesn't stop at buying the gun! Congrats on a good start!

Yes i picked up the range kit and it seems to come with everything. As for the ammo, the Wife suggested a box to start lol the gunshop guy and me started laughing!

Congrats....great pistol....if it's your first...could take a couple of weeks...mine seem to be going through in 24 hours or less lately.....go figure, I'm not complaining...takes longer for them to arrive by mail.....is it me, I nearly always seem to buy or sell in Ontario..only once in BC, and a couple in Alberta....
