Bought my first Milsurp Mosin, quick oiling question.

Marstar sells CLP. That and Hoppes 9 keeps all my Soviet blasters clean and rust free. No windex, boiling water, or any of that other BS.

Diesel oil made today is different from one made in 1940's-I wouldn't use it on my rifles.

It would possibly damage/discolor wooden stock.

It's still perfect for cleaning engine parts

I still use WD-40 on cleaning patches prior to Hoppes #9 and gun oil.Works well.

I've used T-40 and T-32 Krown for years on stored guns. Works great !!!
