just completed buying a Swindlehurst in a Kelbly stock back from a friend,

in the middle of completing to buy my old Hall in a Terry Leonard stock back from the friends brother (OK a friend too)

getting out my Anschutz 2013 in a Robertson JTR stock (the one I designed) put together by Ian himself

going rimfire shooting this summer I guess

built the first two in the USA and had them imported, and never fired them and sold them, mmmmmmmmmm silly

now buying them back cause the jerk I sold my other 2 swindlehursts too still likes them mmmmmmmmmm no taste apparently

very nice high end benchguns that need to be used, get out my SEB NEO rest and have some fun,

come to think of it the guy whobought the other swindlehursts also bought 2 Neos from me, got to get my head examined

anybody ever bought back your old gun you sold in a moment of weakness? and if so was it worth it to get it back and try to enjoy it?

later eh pics when I get them both in my house,

Jeffy

Only my Winchester 32 Special I sold and bought back 20 years later. Oh how I wish I could get back my Browning .22 short lever action. Paid like $350. new 40 years ago.

I got a email from Ian Kelbly this morning.......wanted to know if you were okay....and then told me that he to is jealous that I have two of his swindlehurst rimfire actions......

but the icing on the cake was showing Seb his old barrel that screwed onto someone elses rifle......not sure why your name is penciled over all the bits and pieces though.....

The aging process for some strange reason causes men to produce less testosterone, wonder if this has anything to do with making one more emotional about ones decisions.... LOL

Anyhow, of course we all regret selling some of our prized firearms, just not all of us are lucky enough to buy them back.

I have sold a lot of guns over the years, mainly handguns when money was short, , now when I have money, they still want to keep them.

"been there, done that", Jeff. Lol
Last summer I was able to buy back my Swindlehurst 223AI fr a long time friend I sold it too. Glad to get it back. Even more happy when it got me 1st place at a local club VFS BR match last weekend. Enjoy, pal.
