If I would start with a single stage, no tumbler or anything else, I would go nuts and stop reloading.
If you buy a press, might as well be progressive or at the very least a quality press like Rockchucker.

I agree, any volume of reloading and the extra $400 for a fancy progressive press is well worth it. But I would still consider a single stage like a rockchucker for small volume reloading or rifle calibers just for the convience of leaving a progressive setup for a dedicated pistol caliber. It's also a great idea if you're not sure you want into reloading for the long term.

Quite alright with the hi-jack. The RCBS Rockchucker kit from Wholesale was 390 plus taxes. I think it's a good price for what you get.
