Well got it today cleaned it up and lubed it, did not go to the Gun Club yet but I will be there
on Thursday and I'm playing on shooting alot.

I bought 5 different type of ammo and I will try them all, I have over 3000 rounds
readdy for it I should use them in my first few times out.

500 Thunderbolt
1000 American Eagle
600 CCI Stingner
1500 Reminton bulk 333 and 555
and some elchepo I forgot the name.

Next pistol in a 9MM CZ85B or NZ85 but not for a long time.

They are great little pistols. I have over 10 000 rounds through mine. The number of issues I have had you could count on one hand. Enjoy!

Thanks for the nice info, I bought my son the same, so i will keep you posted on how it turns out.
I'm going tomorow night and I will shoot it till just before the barrel melts off lol.

first impresion nice solid well made handgun, grip a bit short for my hands and my hands are medium size. i could see someone with big hands not liking this pistol.
the slide is great not too stiff just perfect, I will probaly mod this and drop a reddot on it, I know some will tell me noooo but this with a reddot will be dead acurite.

Haha! Well, if it were a "real" Colt, you might have some of us up in arms with the thought of drilling the frame for a mount, but since it's "merely" Norinco, have at er! Better yet, buy an extra one to keep in stock configuration. :)

(after pulling the magazine disconnect and firing pin block safety, just as John Moses Browning would have had you do, of course!)

I removed the magazine disconnect on both of mine as I don't like that feature, but why disconnect the firing pin block safety?

M-93, another fine product by Norinco. Accurate too, for a little guy.
And not as difficult to fieldstrip as you might be led to believe.

It smooths out the trigger pull considerably. Single best improvement that I made on my m93s. I made a thread on the topic somewhere around here.

Don't bother using the thunderbolts, and expect it to be a little sticky for the first couple hundred rounds. Then it's all smiles! Have to look into the removing the firing block safety, my trigger pull could be better.

Well I did not go to to the gun range had a last minute thing [ washing machine konk ]
but I told you I would update you so this is my update. but I will go in next few days for sure.

Myself and the kids love my little plinker, great 22 indeed for the price. I've found Federal bulk ammunition works best in mine. Even tried the more expensive cci and had stovepipes and some failures to cycle.

Took mine out for the second time yesterday, Had to loc-tight my rear sight it started to come loose. I tested a buncha ammo which included CCI Stingers, Win Xpert HV bulk, Blazer bulk, Win Dynapoint bulk, Win 555 bulk, Federal blue box bulk. I ran at least a couple mags of each to test for function. I had a total of 3 misfires using the Win 555 bulk ammo and that was it. Gun ran flawlessly and fired every time on everything else. All I've done to the pistol is clean it and I had to do some fitting on my spare mag to get it to release smoothly. So far very impressed with the pistol so far. Once I get better at pistol shooting I'l probably start testing accuracy.

Quick update, I took the pistol out again the other day and, the slide started locking back on the second last shot occasionally. On cleaning/disassembly afterwards I found some wear on the right hand side of the slide. I took a look at the slide release/stop and it had some wear on it as well and appeared to be free floating. I took the grips off and there is a small plate that keeps a small spring in place that keeps the slide release down until the last shot. The screws had come loose and the spring tension had released. More loc-tight applied and it seems to function properly again. I'll be testing it at the range again shortly. Sorry If I've used the wrong terminology in my description. I don't have the manual in front of me now.

3rd time out and 3rd time coming back with a screw loose. This time it was the screw holding on the metal plate on the left hand side(Under grip panel). Loc-tighted it. Hopefully good to go :p.

Yup, you should be g-t-g now. Recommend loctite on all three side plate screws and two rear sight screws. Not strictly necessary on the side plate screws if you grease the threads and properly torque them using the correct size of screwdriver, but it's cheap and easy insurance.

Well I'm a happy camper,
Last night after work I drove to the gun club I was there at 7pm and left at 10pm

I tell you right off the bat I had jams first 2 shots but I think I did not push the clip far enuff so mostly my error
I shot over 300 rounds and what a fine pistol, I love it.
it shoots everything perfect from Canadian tire chep bulk to american eagles to thunderbolts love shooting the cci stingners made it fell powerfull.
I was shooting at 15 yards and got a consitent grouping of about 3 inch very good for fist time out, and no ajustements to the sights.
and my grip came lose and so did my rear sight, thanks for the warning guys I had some tools with me in case.
even if grip is small you forget all about it after a clip or 2, it's very solid looks like you could break open a pad lock with it.

all in all I love it, I was going to buy a 9mm but I had so much fun with this the 9mm will wait,
I recomend this pistol to anyone noob or pro its great for plinking with cheap ammo.

now I go hunting for the cheapest bulk ammo I can buy and will buy alot.

Now do I go reddot or lazer hummm. maybe I will have a longer barrel made with dove tale rails on it.
